To help make sure that everyone has the 'best day ever' at this years festival, we have made up a list of our most frequently asked questions. If your question is not covered here, contact us.


Is there an entry fee to come to The Festival or EcoFest?

This free event sponsored by the Town of Fairfax and managed by a team of volunteers. Monies raised in the event are used to cover the costs of producing the event.

How can I get involved?

Volunteer! Get in touch with us today. Put 'Festival Volunteer' in the subject line. We have a lot of positions and can find the perfect fit for your skills and abilities.

We need all kinds of help with Set-Up & Breakdown, Kids’ Games & Activities on the Ball Field, Water Stations, Decorations & Run-Arounds! We need support before, during and after the Festival. Please contact us if you have some time to spare on Friday and during the Festival and on Monday to tear down and clean up.

Your music festival is rated one of the best in Marin. Is it free to see the music?

We have multiple music stages throughout the event. Each of them are free for you to enjoy.

Where can I go if I need help?

Festival Grounds: There is an info booth located on Elise street in the park.
The Ball Field: There is also a central station at the entrance to the Ball Field.
EcoFest:

Do you allow pets?

Fairfax Festival Grounds: The festival is a dynamic event we suggest you leave your pet at home.

EcoFest: In the EcoFest and Pavilion pets are not allowed.

Question: Do you allow BYO alcohol or food?

While we encourage you to support our vendors, many of them community service teams and non-profits, we also support you in creating the perfect Festival event for you and your companions. We want to ask that in all circumstances you act with respect to the other visitors. Any violations of the law or behavior that is disruptive will not be tolerated.
